Wax Poetics Inc. is seeking motivated and creative interns for our Fall program. The successful candidates will be joining us during an exciting time as we launch a new website, and release the score and soundtrack to one of the best movies this year.
We need proactive and energetic people for our Editorial, Design, Marketing & PR, Label Services and Operations departments. Be sure to clearly identify in your covering letter which department you are applying for.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
A Wax Poetics internship has tremendous growth potential for the truly dedicated candidate who has a love for music, a willingness to learn, and the drive to contribute to a unique and growing brand.
Job requirements are:
- commitment to 2/3 days a week
- work 10:00am-6:00pm on confirmed days
- your own laptop
- a strong work ethic
- be resourceful
- be able to problem solve
- pay attention to details
- be able to work in a fast paced work environment
- be able to multitask
- be able to work out of our Brooklyn office
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of social networking and blog sites.
Skills:
- Editorial (Please submit x3 examples of your work during the application process)
- Design (Please submit x3 examples of your work or links to an online portfolio)
- Marketing & PR (Previous experience required)
- Label Services (Experience in digital music, publishing and A&R preferred)
- Operations (Customer Service, Sales, Project Management preferred)
Experience:
- A proven background in the area you are applying for.
- A proven background in Music (preferred, but not essential)
- Qualifications, experience or current studies are vital to the position you are applying for - YOU MUST HIT THE GROUND RUNNING!
